It’s no longer an apple…..  An avocado a day may keep the doctor away!

I’m well known for my consumption of avocado and now I’ve got good back up.  

Top reasons to eat your Avo’s!!!

  • High in ‘good fat’ which contains oleic acid which helps to decrease inflammation and fight diseases like cancer
  • Helps to raise levels of ‘good’ or HDL cholesterol
  • Satisfying and help you to feel full longer
  • Essential nutrients like fiber, folic acid, vitamin e and more potassium than a banana
  • The potassium and lutein may help promote normal blood pressure
  • Increases absorption of antioxidants when consumed with other vegetables thus protecting you from free radical damage

RECIPE FOR MY FAVORITE AVO TOAST….

-Trader Joe’s Sprouted Grain and Seed Bread, toasted

-Thin layer of vegan mayo

-1/2 to one entire avocado

-Spike seasoning

-Kale or Broccoli Sprouts
